This was a temporary participatory intervention created in the residential area of Holloway Road to engage members of the locality in creating art out of waste objects. Many discarded objects were collected from the neighbourhouring streets, brought to a central area, and spread around a small square with a message in the middle- “We are objects of purpose, try us out.” I wanted passers by to see potential in these abandoned objects and create sculptures out of them to give them a new meaning. Each of these objects had a form and function that the participants interpreted in different ways. They figurative and abstract sculptures. One of the participants was a mosaic artist, the other a college student and the third one previously worked for the olympics and created its logo.

"I am going to make a few human figures."

"What an amazing little temptation on my way back home."
